No refunds

• Burned tokens are not refunded. $SIN sent to the altar by the copy path is burned at the next Vespers or Matins and is not refunded either.
• $1 buys ten minutes in the fire, at least $1. At most three confessions of one wallet burn at the same time; a fourth waits for a free place. When its time runs out, a confession leaves the fire and is kept permanently, unless removed.
• The Ashen Confessor is an automated system – a machine reads your words. It can refuse a confession; then nothing is burned.
• $SIN is a token on Pump.fun; its price can fall to zero. The fee split can be changed by Pump.fun (see the tithe page).

What is kept – and what is not

• Smoke is checked and answered, then discarded. It is never stored.
• A paid confession is stored with its answer and kept permanently, unless removed.
• Refused confessions and confessions answered with the help text are not stored; only a daily count per category is kept.
• The model provider reads the text. Every confession that passes the first checks, smoke included, is sent to the model provider (currently Anthropic) to check it and write the answer.
• IP address and session are used only for the daily limits and kept only as a keyed daily hash – never in plain form.
• One cookie, sin_session, for the session (24 hours, HttpOnly). Your choice for effects and sound stays in your browser; it is never sent to us.
• No trackers. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party fonts or scripts.
• The chain is public. Payments, burns and relics are on the Solana blockchain for everyone to see. Nothing there can be changed or deleted.
• Reports are stored with a keyed daily hash of your session.

Relics

• Each relic is given in a fixed public order to the paying wallet – the next free number of its tier. There is no random draw. Every 13th tier relic brings a Thirteen as well.
• Each burn at Vespers or Matins brings one Market relic. The Market relic of the Matins burn goes to the creator wallet and stays locked for 182 days after minting.
• The public list on the relics page is authoritative.

Removal

A confession can be removed for abuse or for legal reasons. It stays paid and burned; only its text is no longer shown. Each removal appears in the public ledger, without the reason.

Report

Every confession in the fire has a Report button. Reported confessions are reviewed by hand.
